Meditech Project Manager – Order Set Development OR CPOE Project Manager – 6.0 Spokane, Washington The Project Manager will manage the implementation of Meditech CPOE software for the client facility.  The desired candidate must have build experience with Meditech 6.0, as well as prior experience with Meditech CPOE. Summary The Meditech Project Manager will work with physicians, clinical staff and project teams to insure the clinical processes and features of the Meditech PCM (CPOE) are accurately defined and implemented throughout all facilities.  The Project Manager will work closely with the Application Analysts, Business Analysts and Technical Analysts to ensure that the tasks are completed on time and within budget and that the expectations of the healthcare provider are met.  A thorough knowledge of the PCM build process is required. Responsibilities The person hired will hold responsibility for the overall coordination of the Meditech 6.0 Implementation/Optimization.  Duties include: • Manage the communication between hospital and project team. • Responsible for the management and delivery of overall project plan. • Responsible for communication with Meditech project leadership team. • Preparing project plans, managing timelines, assigning tasks, managing budgets and reporting of project statuses.    Qualifications • Proven track record of Project Management implementation of Meditech systems. • Knowledge of the dictionaries, build tasks and best practice implementation for the Meditech HCIS system. • Ability to develop and manage highly detailed and extensive Meditech project plans. • Ability to manage project plan tasks, issue log risks, and create status reports. • Manage large scale project and staff. • Manage re-designs. • Must have good understanding of systems. • PMP certification desired but not required.
