Solution Architect Systems Engineering Architect ASAP - 31/12/2012 Swindon, Basingstoke, Corsham Overview of Role Solution Architect working within a joint development team to design and accredit a technical solution that the end client is able to propose as part of its Business case in December 12. Additionally to ensure that our client’s interests are represented and protected as the joint solution is defined. Key Responsibilities Assist in the translation of business requirements into system, scope, solutions and architecture definition; Performing security architectural design and for the provision of security component implementation; Provide guidance on telecommunications, Crypto systems, IT infrastructures and system security practices; Completion of appropriate sections of Customer deliverables; Focal point for the correlation of deliverable documentation To liaise with the client’s solution team to ensure communication of solution; To ensure that the client’s interests are represented and protected within the joint development team; Review models and documentation produced by SMEs and specialist consultants; Input to the planning and scheduling of engineering tasks including estimation, prioritisation and resourcing; Communicate solution to the end client and other representatives Participate in requirements and technical workshops, architecture reviews, and security working groups including development of presentation material; Apply architecture principles in the design and specification of the solution. Skills and Experience Solutions Architect 2 with experience and knowledge of Cyber environment Working knowledge of MODAF or TOGAF Qualifications No pre requisites other than above SOLA 2 skills plus Security cleared to SC.
