Currently we are seeking individuals for the following position: <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Mechanical Engineer Mechanical Engineer Job Responsibilities · The NX/Teamcenter engineer position for Engine Systems is the lead coordinator for all NX and Teamcenter activities within Engine Systems. · The position will report directly to the SR-Engine Systems Design. · The selected individual must have excellent communication skills and must be able to work with NBU Engineers and SBU Designers within Engine Systems. · Outside coordination of Engine Systems suppliers utilizing NX and Teamcenter is also a responsibility of this position. · Teamwork and interpersonal skills must be of the highest capabilities. · Extensive knowledge of NX and Teamcenter is a must! This knowledge must be demonstrated on a daily basis. Mechanical Engineer Skills Required to be considered: · 5+ years of NX experience · 5+ years of Teamcenter experience · 5 years of design experience with exhaust, fuel, air induction, and cooling components · Self-starter needing only minimal supervision; demonstrated team skills · Positive attitude · Proficient in Micro-Soft Office applications - Excel, Word, and Powerpoint · Knowledge of BOM structures specific to automotive components · Highly confident; process driven, disciplined approach to every day assignments · DFSS Black Belt certification preferred · Ability to learn new processes and software quickly · Strong leadership skills · Strong communication skills - written and verbal; ability to coach designers and engineers in new processes.
