Capital Hill Accounting Firm is looking to hire an experienced tax accountant.  We work with small businesses and high net worth individuals on tax planning and compliance.  I need someone who can prepare individual and business income tax returns.  You should be detail oriented.  Must have recent experience in providing similar client services.  Must have experience and ability to use QuickBooks.  It is helpful if you are familiar with the Thomson Reuters software (Ultratax, File Cabinet, Engagement, etc) In addition to understanding the tax issues our clients face, you should have a good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping.  You will need to understand how to use QuickBooks in order to obtain information for purposes of preparing the business tax returns.  You should have the ability to review and clean up a QuickBooks file.  We are a small office. The environment is relaxed and casual.  We are located approximately 3 blocks from the Eastern Market metro station.
