eCommerce Support Engineer
eCommerce Support Engineer: Looking for an engineer to provide tier 2 support for the day to day operations of retailers who use our eCommerce platform. Candidates will be involved in providing back-end database support: writing and executing custom SQL queries to generate reports, load products, update pricing, etc. Candidates will debug issues raised in the Java code base. Candidate will work on issues escalated from 1st tier support. [Note: 1st tier support takes calls and emails directly from the customers and deals with issues that can be resolved through the administrative user interface (e.g. reset password)]. Key Responsibilities: ● Write and execute SQL queries ● Java/J2EE web application support and testing Skills & Qualifications: ● Experience with SQL Server ● Knowledge of Java/J2EE specifications (core Java, Servlets) ● Experience with Eclipse ● HTML, CSS, Javascript ● Experience with credit card processing gateway integration, Amazon sellers central integration, and/or mobile commerce web-based solutions a plus Company Overview: This company is a software services firm that delivers custom, innovative and enterprise-class software and managed services with a strategic focus on e-Commerce, mobile, and custom web-based applications.
