Java/Scala Software Engineer - Publishing Java/Scala Software Engineer: Server Side Developer with Java and Scala programming is required to join an iconic Publishing organisation with a strong brand in the digital market. The Software Engineer will be required to programme key server side components using Java and Scala technologies. The engineering team is responsible for producing strong, robust and beautiful code using a range of languages. The team is constantly pushing technical boundaries and are seen to be achieving fantastic new developments using Scala. This is an ideal position for a curious technologist who probably has a real interest in live news and working in that type of environment. They would typically interface with other members of the digital department, which is now over 100 people.
