Clinical System Application Analyst . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Our Spokane healthcare client needs Contract Clinical System Application Analysts to take on the successful migration, implementation and support for each clinic and each hospital department as we move them back onto our own domain/infrastructure. These Analysts will need to understand what clinical applications are being utilized in each clinic and within each hospital (each department) and then the Analysts make sure the company provides the proper instructions to client/server engineers so they can migrate these applications back to the infrastructure. Then the Application Analysts will assist with the migration (which always happens over the weekend, so there WILL be required Saturday and Sunday work) and this includes testing the migrated clinical applications on the new hardware for successful migration, imaging and end user use. Then on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, the Application Analysts will provide hands on support of the new hardware and corresponding clinical applications on the new infrastructure to the entire clinic staff. This will include front office personnel as well as physicians and nursing staff. This entire process: Discovery, Interviews, Migration and then hand on technical and clinic support takes approximately 3 weeks per clinic. This is a very unique role involving highly technical knowledge of infrastructure, desktop, printers, and clinical applications, patient care and interacting directly with physicians and clinical staff. The successful Contract Clinical System Application Analysts will meet the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): 3+ years experience in a healthcare IT, Networking, Desktop and/or Application Support role Specific experience supporting some type of clinical application (McKesson, Meditech, Epic, Cerner, or any type of ancillary system) Comfortable working with clinicians, physicians nurses in a face to face setting and this will include even some patient interaction Professional demeanor, including willingness to dress in a professional manner, a step up from business casual Interest in a religious based organization with core values and mission that include servant hood
