Business Systems Analyst III . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Located in Detroit, Michigan, the Business Systems Analyst III will review and develop reports on the application data and user profile. The results will be critical to the deployment engineering as it is determined what users get which applications installed on their image. Responsibilities: Pull together the data around the deployment strategy Submit service requests using ISM for application packaging Data mining to accommodate the deployment requirements and deployment strategy IBM will use SCCM data and provide data to the analyst Provide deployment requirements workstations to be migrated Collect workstation names and provide information to IBM Coordinate data flow between IBM SCCM team and IBM deployment team Compare application list against application mapping table to ensure applications are aligned with users Support the systems definition process in developing applications by ensuring that requirements are accurately reflecting the business processes and understood during the design and development of the application Specific Requirements (required unless noted otherwise): Expert knowledge of the system requirements definition (RD) processes and modeling methods and tools Expert knowledge of conceptual and logical modeling Extremely high level of sound logic and analytical ability where problems are very unusual and difficult Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology industry trends, directions and market experience; ability to relate them to own organization Familiarity with company's information architecture and information management methodologies Familiarity with the existing and planned software technology and the global, regional and local software architecture and infrastructure components Demonstrates a deep understanding of emerging technologies and trends that could impact the field and the business Makes complex ideas or situations clear, simple, and/or understandable Familiarity with organizational systems, business, and data processes Alters normal procedures to eliminate lateral roadblocks to get a job done and/or meet a customer request Interfaces with senior management to provide and obtain information and to build consensus regarding project direction Ability to work with business representatives and apply business expertise to ensure quality and accuracy in articulating the business needs into technical application requirements Highly developed oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills Ability to lead, manage, plan, and direct the work of business systems analysis personnel BS Technical undergraduate degree in math, computer science, engineering, or related discipline with an information technology focus 6+ years of experience or equivalent MBA or equivalent preferred Project Management certification Strong Excel skills are preferred
