We are looking for someone who is kind, fun and who will really enjoy being a part of our family during this short-term Au Pair placement from early Sept 2012 until Dec 2012. We are a very happy family, with two lovely children and both parents who work full time. Mum is expecting again and due at the start of December. Our daughter is 3 years old and she loves books, stories and playing outside. Our son is 2 years old and he loves trains, dinosaurs and also playing outside. We are looking for someone on a live-in basis. Mon-Fri mornings we need a little help getting the children ready for nursery, drop off at nursery at 9.30am and then do the collection from nursery at 3.15pm (12.30 on Fridays) and look after the children after nursery until 6pm. Making tea for the kids and light tidying up after them is really the height of the housework element! Helping out for a few hours on Sat morning would be great, but Saturday afternoons/evenings and all day Sunday would be completely free for your own activities. In addition to a private double room with en-suite bathroom and private external entrance, you will have a car available for your use 7 days a week, and plenty of free time both during the day on weekdays and at weekends. This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to take a paid placement whilst studying (you will have plenty of free time on both weekdays and weekends) or even just as a way to see some of Scotland's beautiful sights!! Naturally all food and so forth will be covered. Salary can be negotiated but will be in line with normal UK Au Pair rates. As mentioned we are expecting a new baby at the start of December and I will be leaving work for maternity leave from mid November so hence why we are ideally looking for someone on a 3-month placement from the start of September until the start of December. We have had two Au Pairs in the past, and have stayed in touch with both in fact one of them still comes to spend time with us each summer holiday! so as a family we are very comfortable with having an extra member in our family! Having a valid driving licence and experience of driving on the left is essential, but other than that your personality and nature is more important than any other experience. We live on the grounds of a beautiful boarding school in the Scottish countryside but we are only 20 minutes from the city of Perth, and 1 hour from the city of Edinburgh.
