Position Description: Engineer will work on a high-profile, public-facing website focused on the mobile application developer community. Responsibilities include, develop new functionality; release it into staging and production environments. Working with our team, candidate will work on geo-redundant web architecture that includes Linux and CQ5 (or Apache JackRabbit). This technical role will primarily focus on content migration & HTML5 feature development. It will also involve working with technical & marketing groups on product plans. Final product high-lights emerging technology and providing examples, tutorials, tools & tips to an active developer community. Ideal candidate is an expert problem critical thinker and talented at troubleshooting through various layers of technology simultaneously. X/HTML/DOM,CSS; • Proficient with Web 2.0/AJAX libraries – especially ExtJS (Sencha) 3.1.x, and/or JQuery; • Expert in Linux, 4+ years experience; • Scripting experience, e.g. bash, perl; • Proficient at selenium script & JUnit test creation; • Proficient with JSON, XML/XSLT, XPath; • rate reports and interpret results ; • Proficient with Maven; • Proficient with GIT SCM; • Proficient in design patterns & REST architecture; • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision; • Excellent language skills both spoken/written; • Strong focus on stats decision making; Advised/ Nice to have • Spring Framework; • MySQL, 2+ years experience ; • Hands on expertise operating and tuning various app servers, e.g. tomcat, glassfish, cq5Expert knowledge of at least one relevant app server • Knowledge of LAMP/T; specifically Linux, Java application servers (tomcat, jetty, etc), apache and apache-java app server integration; • Proficient with object oriented design; • Proficient with database intermediate-level use & maintenance (backup, reports, queries); • Familiar with JCR (e.g. jackrabbit); • Familiar with open source Java tools & libraries; • Familiar with J2EE 5+ and enterprise concepts; • OpenAM/OpenSSO / authentication; • JNDI; • LDAP Keywords: Software Development
