Please send resume to priyak@amtexsystems.com REQUIREMENT # 1 Title : Java Developer Requirement : Java, Struts 2, JSP, MVC Location : New York City Duration : 9 Month right to hire Description: Duties and Responsibilities: • Full system life cycle development of customer self-service and customer care center applications. • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of assignments. • Follow high level of standards across all levels of work. • Work closely with the Portal Infranet application development team to implement applications that run transactions against our Portal Infranet subscriber management system. • Contribute to the development and execution of unit, system, integration, stress and user acceptance testing. • Address performance issues in an effort to ensure that all applications are highly scalable and can support high volumes of traffic. • Anticipate and resolve technical problems and solve difficult challenges with only occasional need for technical assistance from others 4+ years Java, J2EE, JSP development experience. • 4+ years MVC Framework experience: Struts2, Spring or similar • XML, XSL, processing/parsing. • HTML, JavaScript, strong understanding of browser compatibility issues. • Candidate must have strong structured methodology experience • Strong OO, OOA, OOP experience • Experience configuring and administering application servers. Weblogic 9.1 preferred. • Webservice experience: SOAP Request/Response handling, authentication, Axis2. • SQL and common database knowledge preferred (Oracle, SQL Server) Good public speaking and presentation skills • Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Ability to pay attention to details and be organized • Ability to project a professional image over the phone and in person • Commitment to "internal client" and customer service principles • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment • Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects • Strong organizational skills and attention to details • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast paced environment • Must have legal right to work in the U.S. REQUIREMENT # 2 Title : Sr Java Developer/Architect Requirement : Java, Ajax, Spring, Struts2 Location : New York Duration : 6 months Description: · Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred · Senior Architect Minimum 5 – 7 years · programming experience with web based technologies including Ajax (JavaScript, jQuery, ExtJS) · 5 – 7 years expert level skills in Java, J2EE, JSP, Struts2 or Spring MVC or similar · 2 years experience in Oracle Billing and Revenue Management preferred · 7 + plus years experience in configuring web platforms Tomcat, Linux, JBOSS · Strong understanding of cross browser development, HTML, CSS, XML/XSL processing/parsing knowledge · Application experience with B2B using web services such as SOAP Request/Response handling, Authentication, Axis2 · Application experience with B2C using Struts Sr. Java Application Developer Technical Skills · BS or equiv. in computer science or related field, · 6 years’ experience in Java/J2EE, JSP, development, JavaScript, Struts2 or Spring MVC or similar · HTML, SQL, and XML; Spring, Hibernate, AJAX, CSS, UNIX, Perl scripting, CVS, and VSS. · Candidate preferably must have 2 years+ experience in a production web / Java / J2EE environment Please send resume to priyak@amtexsystems.com
