To know more, please visit www.netvisionresources.com Location: Gaithersburg, MD Job Type: Contract Job Description: • Individual will be responsible to work as a Java/J2SE developer Responsibilities: • Apply facilitation techniques, training, methodology development and evaluation • Strong hands on experience with Java/J2SE • Good experience with XML and developing XML Schemas • Good experience with PHP – Must be able to parse and map data into common data structures using PHP & Java • Experience with MySQL and SQL • Experience with Web Services (SOAP / REST): Experience providing standard interfaces using SOAP / REST for repositories required. • Experience and understanding of platform independent communication protocols TCP/IP and UDP/IP is preferred. • Experience with scripting languages such as Perl or Python, as well as cross-platform systems programming techniques, is preferred. • Familiarity with C/ C++ programming is preferred Qualification, Skills & Experience Required: • Doctorate with 1 year of work experience Or • Master with 2 years of work experience Or • Bachelor with 3 years of work experience • Must have demonstrated proficiency in parallel distributed processing; cross-platform software development (UNIX, Windows); • Basic experience with Windows / UNIX system administration including experience updating operating system patches.
