Saleforce Reporting Analyst
Apex Systems has an immediate opening for a SalesForce Operations/Reporting Analyst to manage SalesForce.com and provide solutions for consistent data gathering, data preparation, data analysis and reporting from various databases and repositories. This position will work closely with management to learn sales and marketing objectives and support these objectives through the administration of SalesForce.com and solid reporting techniques. Specific responsibilities include: Manage all functions of SalesForce and be the point of contact for a 20-person sales team. Set up new licenses, billing/payments, utilization tracking, and configuration of data fields. Maintain system configuration including user permissions, custom objects, custom fields, validation rules, page layouts, case queues, workflow rules, escalation rules Perform data loading and merging and ensure solid process for removing duplicate records Develop and manage reports and dashboards based on business goals Develop a process to verify data is accurate and updated in SalesForce using various means. Ensure data going into SalesForce is clean, and data coming out of SalesForce is clean. Identify SalesForce problems independently or through team feedback and execute quick solutions Support the integration of SalesForce with marketing tools and proprietary databases Participate in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues involving CRM and sales operations Determine process for closing out sales in SalesForce bi-weekly, by the masses Learn to pull sales and customer reports from various different databases and manipulate the data into workable files for executive teams while maintaining consistent data gathering fields and techniques. Analyze data coming from various databases and SalesForce to present management teams with updates on sales strategy success Requirements 4-year business degree with strong technical skills or 4-year technical degree in either information technology or information systems with experience in a business environment 2-4 years in a SalesForce administrator role. 2-4 years working in a data-centric role either database administrator or similar Strong expertise in Excel Be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as a team Have excellent communication skills to update progress on projects and initiatives Be a fast learner with the ability to quickly understand new data repositories Experience in flexible business models where priorities may shift daily Ability to transfer customer requirements into specifications Deep knowledge of reporting and system capabilities Ability to manage time effectively, multitask and handle urgent projects with professionalism Possess business acumen
