Sr Desktop Support Specialist - Windows 7
Sr. Desktop Support Specialist needed to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues concerning PC workstations. Will consult, advise, and make recommendations concerning PC issues. and suggest, configure, and install specific hardware equipment and software that will best meet their client's needs. Establishes, maintains, and administers network file server configurations, and resolves communication issues between workstations, file servers, mainframes, and other network equipment. Will analyze equipment configurations and look for ways of optimizing hardware and software to achieve peak performance. Performs proactive testing, inspection, and maintenance of installed systems. REQUIREMENTS: - Windows 7 - MAC, OS/2, MS-DOS - Excel, Word, Lotus and WordPerfect - Strong trouble-shooting, attention to detail/organization skills - Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills General Knowledge: - Network concepts and technologies - Concepts of using mainframe, client server, LAN and database systems =========================================================================================================== KEYWORDS: ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ If you are qualified and interested in this position, please submit your resume with 2-3 manager references.
