As the Senior Project Manager in Detroit, Michigan, your responsibilities will include: Oversees execution of multiple projects of high complexity, size, and scope Acts as team's primary interface to IT and business partners Works with the customers to understands the needs and issues surrounding each project Negotiates and delivers quality solutions to customers Identifies project dependencies and works with project stakeholders, management, and implementation teams to resolve Coordinates communication plans for the projects; ensures timely and regular communications to all the involved parties Manages teams and ensures successful project delivery in the complex matrix environment Works with multiple vendors and ensures smooth transition of tasks between the vendors Oversees allocations and staff assignments and other resources to accomplish project tasks, and maintains control over each project schedule Responsible for risk management across the portfolio of projects. Identifies, prioritizes, and proactively addresses risks Responsible for early issue detection and resolution Monitors the progress of the development teams, informs the team of its progress and provides the team with support and direction Continuously determines new methods and develops new procedures for accomplishing work Provides work direction and assigns tasks to lower level employees Develops and maintains long-term relationships with strategic customers and industry leaders Creates a climate of collaboration and teamwork among team members and customer groups The following skills, knowledge and experience are required for this position unless noted otherwise: Bachelor of Science and 8+ years of experience or equivalent Expert knowledge of Project Management methodologies and tools and the software development life cycles Excellent organizational, time management, and planning skills Attention to details Ability to multitask Experience in Quality Assurance management, concepts, and application, including the latest CMMI methodologies
