We are tasked with locating the right resource who is looking to contribute in a fast-paced, large enterprise technical environment. We seek rock-solid Windows and Web-server systems skills, MS Systems server, as well as expert-level experience in, Xendesktop, Xenapp, and Xenserver. The Essential Functions: ,* Windows and Web server support ,'" includes Active Directory, IIS, ISA, Application Center, Site Server, ASP, .Net, and SharePoint systems. ,* Defines Windows and Web server configuration specifications for new systems given application, business, and technical requirements. ,* Works independently or as part of a team on both large and small scale projects with varying degrees of risk and complexity. ,* Creates standards and procedures for supported systems. ,* Measures systems performance and takes action to correct bottlenecks. ,* Troubleshoots, coordinates, assists, and advises in recovery from system failures with 24 x 7 on-call rotation. ,* Utilizes problem management techniques to perform root cause analysis of system failures, and implements corrective actions. ,* Develops and manages projects related to implementing supported products. Includes defining business & technical requirements, scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocations. Qualifications: ,* Windows 2003 or 2008 MCSE certification is preferred. ,* Eight years of Information Systems experience. ,* Four years of Windows server, Web infrastructure, and Active Directory support. ,* Proficient at developing systems administrative scripts using VBScript and/or Script. ,* Strong understanding of networking concepts, tools, and techniques related to Windows servers, web services, clustering, and load balancing. ,* Experience analyzing TCP/IP communications and performing trace analysis using network monitoring tools. ,* Experience creating system support procedures and technical documentation. ,* Experience designing, configuring, and supporting Windows servers in a storage area network environment. ,* Experience supporting Windows systems in a virtualized environment
