Has the following contract opportunity: Title: Web Developer with Database experience Our end client is currently working on a joint project to support administrative needs of graduate programs with a database and web application. This project will result in an integrated user Front End web application, supported by an Oracle database. The temporary position will complete specific work packages to fulfil the original design specification and additional functionality requested in testing phases. The expectations for completing the project include development, testing, and documentation. The temporary position will participate in the moderate to complex computer tasks programming a secure, best practices web application with extensive database connections. This work has the following requirements: - Experience with web application development using C#, ASP, .NET, Visual Basic, HTML is essential - Experience with SQL and relational databases is essential - Excellent communication skills are essential - 3-5 years lower to mid-level experience with Windows, MS Office, web applications - Certification or education in Computer Science or related field a plus - Experience with database development, accurate documentation, and agile project management an advantage The position requires familiarity with PC environment, with limited testing in MAC environment.
