The SQL Database Developer role is in our client's West Hills, California location. This person is responsible for medium to large operations of a department, product or business unit. Duties: Provides consulting expertise to line managers on productivity issues, analyzes market and operational impact in the business brought about by operational changes in parameters Researches and documents organizational reviews, workflow analysis, management and staff analysis Develops tactical plans including estimates of cost and resources required Defines operations scope to others outside of the department that may become involved in or impacted by the department Maintains thorough knowledge of the operations area The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): 3-5 years of experience Detailed background in data integration, application connectivity, and data aggregation Ability to interact between application developers and DBA/Database developers Database knowledge including DB queries Strong background in high frequency systems and data-feeds, including market data and internal feeds; or a Development DBA with experience in performance tuning, SAN, and Cluster Experience supporting financial applications including capital markets Informatica, ETL, and experience with financial data Detailed experience with Oracle, Sybase, DB2, Teradata, or SQL databases Knowledge of data mining, Datawarehouse, and data marts Expert user of SQL Experience must include using advanced functions to analyze and extract data Strong customer and project deliverables focus Strong analytical skills and detail oriented Mortgage servicing business/functional knowledge Strong MS Office skills Visual Basic skills for applications (VBA) are desired
