The .Net Developer is a member of the information technology team. The .Net Developer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of complex systems. The .Net Developer works with the .Net Architect to create solutions that are stable, maintainable, and scalable while providing assistance wherever necessary to deliver on the project’s goals. Essential Functions: Develops and maintains systems and databases in a .Net programming environment. Performs requirements analysis, functional and technical design, application development, product configuration, unit and system testing, and production deployment within the framework of the companies infrastructure Identifies areas of improvement for processes and systems Resolves problems and handles projects in an efficient and courteous manner with internal and external customers Maintains confidential material and information appropriately Assists in the creation of design standards and best practices Provides technical expertise in the diagnosis and resolution of issues, including the determination and provision of workaround solutions. Provides regular updates to supervisor and project managers with regard to project progress and outstanding issues. Effectively works on multiple projects at any given time Participates in project design reviews. Provides suggestions for design strategies and best practice approaches. Creates and maintains technical documentation Works with project managers and business analysts to identify system requirements and resolve issues Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: B.S. in Computer Science preferred 5+ years of progressive experience in analysis, design, development, and deployment of enterprise systems. Experience creating web services, database designs, and programming in C#. Strong experience using OO concepts/approaches. Java and Unix experience a plus. Discusses topics at the appropriate technical level to best communicate with technologists, users, customers, and senior management – both in writing and verbally Enjoys a team oriented environment Energetic and motivated
