Oracle PL/SQL Developer Santa Ana, CA Seeking a strong Senior Oracle PL/SQL Server developer who understands business needs and has solid experience with Performance tuning and Development. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years experience of Oracle database development, performance tuning and troubleshooting using PL/SQL. Candidate should be able to quickly learn existing system, troubleshoot problems and provide solutions. Essential Job Requirements Education: Describe the level of education typically required. If a BA/BS is required, include preferred discipline (i.e. Finance, Marketing, etc.) Also include licenses or certificates required. Independence: Will need to work with Scrum teams and Development manager to make crucial decisions. This person owns making technical decisions on the pieces he/she will be working on. REQUIRED SKILLS: • Technical architecture and design experience. • Technical leadership and guidance. • Worked with Oracle RDBMS 9i, 10g . • Strong PL/SQL experience (stored procedures, triggers) . • Strong backend development experience working with Online website development. • Strong capacity, performance planning and tuning experience. • Database design experience including knowledge of data normalization, referential integrity, indexing and database sizing. • Experience with performance tuning of high concurrency database applications. • Experience of Unix/Linux shell scripting. • Very good communication skills. • Good understanding of ETL technology. PREFERED SKILLS • Experience with Oracle Streams and AQ. • Experience with Scrum/Agile Process. • Experience with Microsoft SQLServer. • Experience in working along with Java Applications teams. • Experience in working with multiple teams simultaneously. • Experience in Real Estate Industry. Primary Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities will include developing, maintaining, troubleshooting and performance tuning for our upcoming and existing projects. This person also will be responsible for reviewing requirements, posing questions, translating business requirements to technical requirements and design new system by working with other senior developers.
