Kforce is hiring an Application Developer whose primary programming skill set is .NET oriented, but also has some experience with Java. This role will be to work on a variety of small scale software development projects, software enhancement projects, and implement bug fixes to existing systems. The systems to be supported are primarily written in .NET (C#, ASP.NET, MS SQL Server, and Oracle) but some systems to be supported are developed in Java. This is a long-term contract with a good option to extend; there also exists the potential for this contract to eventually become a permanent-hire position! The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): 3-5 years of experience in .NET (C# and ASP.NET) Application Development and Support Any level of Java application development experience (must have some, even from school) Experience with the full software development life cycle (SDLC) Good customer facing experience Ability and desire to work on a variety of small scale application development projects (more production support related than new development from scratch) An ideal candidate has a Life Sciences, Pharma, or Medical Device background A Bachelor's Degree is preferred
