IT Asset Management Assistant, Heavy ticket management, Outlook, Excel
Looking for a sharp, reliable individual with heavy ticket management experience who is able to multi-task and work in a very fast-paced environment. All internal hardware and software requests come through the Acquisitions department. As an IT Acquisition Analyst, you'll field hundreds of requests daily via a ticketing system. Responsibilities will include: Manage tickets; create tickets; follow up on tickets with clients and vendors, etc. Work closely with vendors for ordering or repair requests Work closely with in-house clients to create work orders Work closely with in-house technical team (desktop support techs, server admins, etc.) Place and receive hardware and software orders Inventory equipment stock Move Hardware / Lift equipment Maintain records for receiving, disbursement and tracking of materials Create and maintain Excel and/or Visio documents as needed Requirements: Must have strong experience with IT Ticketing systems (Remedy, Service Now, Heat, etc.) Must have experience managing a heavy load of tickets on a daily basis Must have strong technical understanding of PC components, hardware, software, peripherals and servers Must be able to determine what a client really needs vs. what they say they need Previous Desktop Support experience preferred Strong Outlook and Excel experience required Excellent written and oral communication skills required Excellent organizational skills are key Keen attention to accuracy Must be able to lift 40lbs Must be able to multitask Proficiency with Visio (strongly preferred, or aptitude to learn) Background check and drug testing required for this position. =========================================================================================================== KEYWORDS: Acquisition, IT Project Coordinator, IT Procurement, IT Asset Management, IT Inventory, hardware, software, procurement, scheduling, distribution, supplies, ordering, PC's, computers, IT Coordinator, materials coordinator, Purchasing, Order, Ordering, Hardware, software, vendor management, contract agreements, SLAs, buying, Project Coordination, inventory control, spreadsheet, excel, access, IT assistant, it admin, it administrative assistant ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ If you are qualified and interested in this position, please submit your resume with 2-3 manager references.
