Our client in Walla Walla, Washington is looking for a Team of Desktop Support Specialists to support the hardware deployment in their hospital and multiple clinics related to their new Clinical System. This role involves working in a patient care setting; so excellent communication and customer service ability in working with physicians and clinic staff to deploy new hardware for the Epic implementation that is underway is necessary. The Specific Responsibilities: * Deploying an already imaged PC to the designated desk location, plug it into the network, configure the printer, turn on the machine, ensure appropriate software is loaded; and the PC connects properly and also hook up the keyboard and mouse * Repeat the functions as required * Other responsibilities may include deploying scanners or other hardware in the hospitals and clinics in mainly Everett, although there are clinics around the local Walla Walla area * The Desktop Support Specialists will work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, 40 hours per week, however there may be some after hours or weekend work, depending on the clinic / hospital bandwidth and business * Transportation may be necessary to reach the clinics outside Walla Walla * The ability to take direction; listen; and take on this repeated task daily is very important * A good attitude and customer service skills are also important * The client's core values and mission are important guidelines to follow for your day to day performance * This is a 3 month assignment The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): * 2+ years of experience in a desktop support, hardware deployment role within a high pressure, customer facing implementation environment with tight deadlines * A strength in customer service and willingness to learn and do quality work * Required to have adequate transportation for work in and outside of Walla Walla proper * Willingness to work whatever shift necessary including nights and weekends (as needed) * A background check and drug screen and full immunization update will be required for this contract assignment
