We are currently searching for a Senior ETL Quality Assurance Analyst to join our client at their Dunwoody location for a 6 month engagement. Description: The Senior ETL Quality Assurance Analyst's role is to facilitate and lead the application portfolio QA activities throughout the software development lifecycle. This individual will gather and analyze data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. This will include writing test plans and scripts for tracking defects and fixes in product development, software application development, information systems, and operations systems. The Sr. QA Analyst will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate IT processes through careful testing in order to maximize the benefit of business investments in IT initiatives. The Sr. QA Analyst will lead test planning, organize and coordinate the work of work of a test team, collaborate with all members of the project team, and communicate results to project stakeholders and management. Responsibilities: Lead the QA efforts for the project working with both onsite and offsite resources Work with project team and Senior management on project allocation and test coordination Create test strategy and test cases based on product requirements. Approve test matrix created by analyst team prior to execution of test plans Develop automation framework and continue to enhance the framework based on project needs Work closely with Technology and business owners to set QA compliance objectives and ensure those objectives are met Collaborate with software/systems personnel in application testing, such as system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods. Document work sufficiently, to enable traceability of business requirements throughout the program lifecycle Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management Assist in the development of change control processes, practices, and guidelines for new and existing technologies Qualifications: 5+ years Quality Assurance experience working in a formalized QA environment with 3+ years in a Senior QA/leadership role Strong knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologies Must possess strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written Must exhibit strong analytical skills and be able to demonstrate creative thinking Strong understanding of automation frameworks - experience implementing an automation strategy preferred Demonstrated experience with HP tools (i.e. Quality Center, QTP, etc.) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management or Engineering; or equivalent work experience Experience with relevant business software preferred, including Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio) Experience with ETL/Informatica required Experience with RPG/iSeries, Business Objects, and/or Salesforce.com preferred Apply Now
