1 year Fixed Term Contract Job Summary We are looking for an experienced IT professional to assist in the smooth running of the IT Helpdesk, maintenance of hardware and software in the hospital and meeting the defined KPI’s of the Department. Responsible for Key responsibilities will be to provide Helpdesk cover between the hours of 0800hrs to 1900hrs. Carry out the daily backups, respond to calls logged by the users and find resolutions to their problems. Assistance should be given to other members of the team and correct escalation procedures followed. IT duties must be carried out in accordance with the Cromwell Hospital working practices and the IT Policies and Procedures. Requirements/Qualifications Candidates must be educated to 'A’level (or equivalent) Hold ITIL Foundation. Have demonstrable experience in an IT Support role within a small/medium organisation. Experience working in a healthcare or clinical setting an advantage. Experience using Windows XP & Win 7 Operating systems, Active Directory Administration, MS Exchange and MS Office. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
