Extensive hands on network experience equivalent of greater than CCNP level Sys admin background with strong UNIX and scripting skills (perl/python/SQL) Strong Cisco routing and switching experience, in an NSP environment Expert knowledge with 7600/6500 platforms Experience with vendors other than Cisco Objectives/Responsibilities Responsible for detailed design, documentation and service development and deployment on the IP/MPLS/SONET core and access networks and large customer solutions. Responsible for any network technical signoff, defining company best practice and design authority. Ensuring uptime and availability. Provide escalation and interface to other departments. Strategic planning; and to be seen as senior level consultant for the company. Provision of Technical support in relation to Service Development Projects. Development and maintain network support tools.
