Please send me these details Contact Number: E-mail: Visa Status: Current Location: Ready to Relocate: Availability: Expected Rate: Can you come for F2F Interview on your own Expenses after Telephonic: Short Paragraph why you are fit for this position: Title: HIM Chart Reviewer/Coder Location: Raleigh, NC Duration: 12+Months Visa Type –ONLY GC, Citizen In this role you will analyze inpatient records to determine and assign DRG and ICD-9-CM coding via principal diagnosis, secondary diagnoses and principal procedure sequencing and DRG assignment according to national coding conventions, regulatory agencies and reimbursement practices. You will adhere to production standards to support timely coding and filing of patient claims and respond to questions generated by pre-billing auditing systems, and questions/recommendations from physician advisors. You will also analyze records to determine if additional documentation is required to assign appropriate diagnoses and procedure codes to meet ICD-10 compliance, and you will communicate with physicians and staff to obtain documentation. Finally, you will prioritize workflow according to established procedures to expedite the reimbursement process. Required Skills/Experience: * 5+ years as an Inpatient Coder * Proven ability to review charts * AHIMA Credentials (CCS preferably) * AHIMA certified ICD 10 education. * Strong Computer knowledge. (Excel, word, access, etc) Licensure * CCS, CPC, CPC-H, RHIA, RHIT Desired Skills/Experience: * Auditing Experience preferred. * Leadership skills. * Ability to work independently, with minimal guidance * Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation. * Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
