Job Description Test Manager Cranston, RI TOP TIER DIRECT BANKING / FINANCIAL CLIENT is looking for a Test Manager Location: Cranston, RI Test Manager – • TESTING MANAGER for large, complex initiative migrating from Mainframe application system to SAP. • Candidate must quickly learn business processes and lead business test leads in the development, execution and tracking of all aspects and phases of testing. • Actively manages the work efforts of testers through the Microsoft project plan. • Establishes documentation; monitors and reports testing status; assesses the effectiveness and accuracy of the testing process. • Initiates and maintains reporting relationships with project stakeholders including team members, peers, managers, customers, vendors, and other affected departments to coordinate efforts across multiple business units and ensure continuous efficient management of the testing process; gathers input and feedback. • Analyzes and reports project test status and researches information. • Effectively assists in directing both internal and external resources to achieve testing success within project guidelines. • Collaborates and communicates with other program test managers and Release management governance leaders to coordinate cross-project initiatives and activities. • Identify and eliminate obstacles to test plans. • Assists in the development and implementation of contingency and deployment plans. • 4 year degree. • 5 years plus experience in managing testing in large scale projects. • Quality Center knowledge a must, PMP certification preferred, Microsoft project, Accounts Payable/Fixed Asset experience a plus. • Strong Communication and Relationship Management skills a must.
