Marketing Communications Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen as a 6-9 month fixed term contract, for a Marketing Communications Manager who will be responsible for the firm's internal and external marketing communications. This will include overall responsibility for the firm's marketing planning, PR (working in conjunction with the firm's appointed PR agency), brand management and managing the overall look and feel of the firm's publications, website and other eCommunications. Duties as a Marketing Communications Manager will include: *Develop and execute the firmwide marketing communications plan in order to build the brand and profile of the firm across its target client markets. *Manage external agencies in the delivery of the communications strategy. *Act as a guardian for the brand ensuring all materials are consistent in tone of voice and messaging and in keeping with the firm's house style and visual identity. *Working with the business development managers to develop distinctive brand attributes and core messages which build on the firm's competitive differentiation and unique positioning. *Managing the firm's PR agency in respect of their remit, and working with the business development managers to ensure the firm is maximising efforts and keeping apace of legal trends. *Managing the legal press and writing firmwide press releases, including end of year results, lateral / team hires and deal releases. *Developing relations with the legal press and nurturing journalist contacts. *Manage and co-ordinate the firm's suppliers ensuring projects are on time and on budget. *Managing the firmwide directory profiles including Chambers, Legal 500 and Martindale Hubbell, and any other profiles we have. *Work with the business development managers to continually develop new and fresh content. *Oversee the firm's eCommunication software ensuring appropriate use of available platforms and templates. *Have an overview of the firm's website strategy, implementing search engine optimisation. You must have strong written skills and verbal communication and demonstrable experience of working with and influencing partners. It is essential that you have outstanding attention to detail, a good understanding of branding and extensive marketing communications experience including both internal and external communications. If you are graduate calibre and/or have achieved a recognised marketing qualification preferably CIM, diploma or equivalent, you will be at a distinct advantage. Relevant professional services experience, ideally law firm is a pre requisite. Keywords: Secretarial
