Location:- NYC Job Title: PeopleSoft Senior Developer/Analyst Job Type:- Contract Job Description: Overview: We are looking for a right-to-hire PeopleSoft Senior Developer/Analyst for a 6-8 months contract with possibility of conversion to permanent employment. Candidate will conduct analysis and development work on various customizations based on client requirements around PeopleSoft Financials modules – ePro, AP, GL, AM, PO. Responsibilities: This Consultant will perform the following tasks: 1. Work in a functional/technical capacity with a good understanding of business processes, relational databases and PeopleSoft table structure. 2. As part of small and agile PeopleSoft Development team will independently work on analysis, design, and development 3. Creation and review of Technical Designs 4. Collaborate with peers and technical manager during design sessions and code reviews Qualifications: The candidate must have demonstrated a strong background in the following technologies: Minimum Requirements: Peoplecode, prior use of Application Classes Application Engine Integration Broker XML Publisher SQR SQL - preferably knowledge of UDB Deep understanding of PeopleSoft architecture & platform Basic knowledge of Unix 1. Exceptional communication skills – this position is customer facing. Candidate will be required to partner with business owners while working on delivering appropriate solutions 2. Possess strong PeopleSoft technical knowledge with a focused perspective on business functions. 3. Ability to think independently and deliver high quality technical solutions. 4. Prior Lead Developer experience – ability to work with business to create specs and deliver the entire solution – from technical design through development and Production Move 5. Bachelor's Degree in IT related field or equivalent work experience. 6. 7+ years of application development experience 7. 7+ years of PeopleSoft application development experience. 8. Experience with Financial Modules is a big plus Additional Qualifications Preferred: 1. Shows initiative and willingness to take calculated risks. 2. Familiarity and ability to apply Agile and SCRUM methodologies. 3. Knowledge of Unix and shell scripting 4. Prior experience with Peopletools 8.51 and above 5.
