Technical Support I - MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE Portland, OR Please Reference Job ID: 300280-9577-12-305332 Technical Support I - MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLEPAY RATE: $17-22/HOUR Volt Technical Resources currently has multiple openings available, temporary and temp-to-hire, for Tier 1 Technical Support candidates. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide first-level contact and problem resolution for all users with hardware and/or software problems. Provide technical support to users who are running the Windows Operating System. Resolve the majority of the problems independently; promptly escalate unresolved problems following Help Desk procedures. Assist with Network Administration duties, including the creation, deletion and maintenance of user accounts/groups for the Voice Mail System, Microsoft Windows, Exchange and UNIX. Provide accurate and timely logging of problems and resolution for problems in the Help Desk Call Tracking System/Knowledgebase. Maintain communication with customers during the Problem Resolution process. Create, review and update Help Desk documentation, and recommend procedure modifications to the IS Manager. Gather and input data for regular reports (i.e. Help Desk Matrix, Call Accounting, Phones). Perform other duties as assigned.
