Computer Help Desk o Provides assistance to end users who use a wide variety of desktop or office/shop software applications in a complex PC environment. o Provides assistance to end users with blackberry issues. o Configure and support wireless and VPN issues o Utilizes problem determination skills to identify, resolve or reassign customer service requests. o Documents all service requests, status and resolutions for tracking and trending analysis. o The ability to trouble-shoot technical issues in a stressful situation is a key requirement. o Provides technical advice, guidance and training to lesser-experienced help desk personnel. *Not all positions may be currently available, please contact Volt for more information. Requirements: Requirements: The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year(s) of work experience relevant to the position; excellent longevity in previous positions, and a degree or certificate is highly preferred. Good verbal and written communications skills o Good planning and organizational skills o Ability to multi-task o Works well in a team environment o Good problem solving skills o Computer skills to decipher hardware problems from software problems o Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) o Understanding of the LAN, WAN, and mainframe environment would be an asset o Lotus Notes, Printers, general hardware/software diagnostics, and other software application experience. o At the minimum 1 year helpdesk experience on Level 1.
