Amarx Search, Inc. amarx.com Type: 6+ Month W-2 Contract [|] Location: Santa Clara,CA [|] Pay : $40 per hour [|] Position ID: 792 An excellent position with an international storage solution company * Senior Financial Analyst * We can ONLY consider your application if you have: 1: 8+ years relevant work experience 2: Financial Applications experience (such as Oracle, Hyperion) 3: Ability to work with management team & C level executives 4: Outstanding spoken and written communications skills We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will function as a business partner, working directly with business leaders of GSSD and R&D organization DESIRED (not required) SKILLS: :: Bachelors in Accounting or Finance preferred :: CPA and/or MBA is desireable Duties and Responsibilities == Manage capital spending and expenses, identify critical issues, make recommendations,fulfill fiduciary role and provide guidance and counsel == Evaluate strategic options, develop and implement meaningful methods of financial analysis and be responsible for understanding and analyzing the impact of individual decisions on the overall business == Coordinate with other finance and accounting resources to provide meaningful fact-based analysis and reports to drive efficient and effective decision-making == Responsible for various aspects of financial support including forecasting, budgeting and analyzing actual resultsfor Global Solutions and Strategy and R&D functions - 40% == o Responsible for yearly budgets,monthly forecast and consolidation of financial reports for 2 business unitsand provide detailed analysis to the senior management team. Lead the processfor developing budget/forecast for expense and capital spending == o Monitor investments to ensure budget attainment == o Providing analysis for all the project spending == o Refining processes and tools to monitor projects and facilitate the prioritization of spending. Oversee development of business case and ROI analysis for all major projects == o Effectively establish a finance business partnership with VP Operations , Project and Program managers and Functional leads as well asCorporate Accounting and FP&A teams == Work diligently to be a 'value add' business partner and leading the way and promoting beneficial change with solid analytical observations and recommendations - 10% == o Providing "big picture" perspective of financial forecasts,budgets and plans through analysis and insights. == o Assessing on-going risks and opportunities and proactively develop action plans to minimize exposure and enhance opportunities. == Responsible for Monthly Close of Accounts and analyze and reconcile balance sheet accrual accounts on a monthlybasis - 35% == Support senior leadership team withfinancial needs and requirements - 5% == Identify and resolve business issues -5% == Ad-hoc financial analysis/modeling -5% == Work with international finance personnel on monthly spending and forecast You must currently be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident No interview,relocation or living expenses provided Please send resume as a Microsoft Word attachment to apply@amarx.com Amarx Search, Inc. amarx.com
