Job Title: Web Portals Administrator Location: Palo Alto, CA Duration: 6 months (Extendable) Job Description: • Minimum 5 years’ experience, supporting web applications in a large enterprise environments• Strong skills in SpringTc, Apache Tomcat, Liferay, and Weblogic server administration; install/config, access control, monitoring, backup/recovery, performance tuning, log management • Strong skills and experienced with supporting custom J2EE, Liferay, Lamp, Jive-based applications in an integrated Oracle Database and Middleware enterprise environment • Strong working knowledge of Linux administration, client ESX, and SAN/NAS storage systems skills in a virtualized environment is required • Excellent problem diagnosis, troubleshooting, and problem solving is required • Extensive experience with configuring and tuning JDBC connections and web application environments • Usage of Application Performance Management tools such as Hyperic, Site Catalyst, Zenoss, Website Pulse for root cause analysis and systems/applications monitoring • Website administration and support; knowledge of Web Content Management (WCM) applications is desired • Experience with WebSphere ILOG JRules7.1, WebSphere ILOG RTS, and related Tomcat 6.0 bundles is desired • Demonstrated use of trouble ticketing systems and working knowledge of incident management, change management, and problem management processes skills • Clear understanding of the SDLC ITIL software lifecycle
