Job Title : Information Security Engineer Location : Washington, DC Duration : 6 Months CONTRACT JOB REQUIREMENTS: General Requirements: Review access logs and report anomalies in the operating system, database, network and application layers based on Bank’s Information Security policies, procedures and internal/external audit requirements. Daily log review tasks include, but not limited to the following: UNIX login activity. Windows login activity. Oracle login activity, schema changes and data changes. Sybase login activity, schema changes and data changes. UNIX SU events. Network devices login activity. Correlate events to alerts. Incorporate events into dashboard. Specific Requirements: Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience. Review configuration of UNIX/Windows server infrastructure. Review ESM reports and follow-up with stakeholders to ensure compliance with documented process, standards and procedures. Log incidents into Information Security Incident Management System and assist in incident response and resolution. Assist infrastructure support units in developing and implementing effective and appropriate remediation to address any deficiencies. Support Continuous Monitoring Framework instituted by the Information Security Office by effectively reporting the Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Control Indicators (KCIs) on a periodic basis, and incorporating into the information security dashboard. Support Information Security Metrics Framework by calculating KPIs and reporting them as requested by the Information Security Office and incorporate into the information security dashboard.
