Senior Software Engineer – (Technical Lead) – Key skills - .NET 4.0 / WCF / Silverlight Job Description Serve as a technical expert in .NET 4.0 WCF Services, .NET 4.0 Entity Model, Self-Tracking Entities, T4 Text Templates, Silverlight, and HTML5 Participate at all levels of software development lifecycle such as (standard waterfall and/or agile software methods) Participate in software designs as it pertains to layered architecture such as SOA Create flexible and sound technical solutions that center around reusability Participate in logical and physical database design and implementation Participate in the creation and enforcement of design, programming, and testing standards Design and develop using industry standard patterns Implement object oriented designs and methods where appropriate Create comprehensive test plans, test cases and test solutions Implement Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies Prepare extensive electronic or written documentation that includes but not limited to; functional specifications, technical designs documents, technical user guides, installation guides, implementation guides, testing guides, etc. Mentor other engineers on the software development/engineering practices Participate in functional and technical presentations to employees, prospects and customers Develop web portal technology (both internet and intranet solutions) Develop program objects using ASP.net, C#, T-SQL (procedures, trigger, and functions), web services Required Skills Four-year degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Information Systems 8+ years of Software Development experience & Training Three+ years experience using OOP methods (design and development) Three+ years experience with layered architecture and SOA techniques Three+ years experience using T-SQL language (procedures, triggers, functions) Solid programming experience using OOP techniques Extensive knowledge with Microsoft product suites such as; Visual Studio 2008/2010, .Net Frameworks 3.5/4.0 Web Services, IIS (6/7.5), SQL Server 2005/2008, Reporting Services 2005/2008, Windows Communication Foundation, HTML 5, Silverlight (3,4), Ajax, EDMX, LDAP/AD.
