I have a Linux VPS with access to a simple proprietary web-admin with ISO installation CDs, ability to setup VNC console password and root user. No domain available yet. As I am unskilled the VPS got infected, was causing SSH attacks and was blacklisted. I had already reinstalled/cleared that with CentOS from the web-admin. Im am looking for skilled linux admin that will do, show me (skype screenshare) and a bit explain the following: - Re-install some Linux/Debian/CentOS if recommended (?) - Install some complete package (Apache, PHP, MySQL, FTP, mailserver, DNS server, antispam, antivir, phpMyAdmin, webmail) – yum (?) - Remove the IP from the blacklist open_bl.org and check others… - Install some user friendly free control panel/ISPConfig (?) Prepare it and show me how to: - upload files/webpages - access the directory structure including root (sftp via FileZilla?) – I was able to access root with FileZilla earlier, cannot now (because of the blacklist?) - create MySQL database and a user with access to it over internet, limited to a certain IP - view that MySQL database - Check that there are not any security issues. I would like to have this done today. I am available 4pm-10pm UTC.
