Self Care Decisions is primarily a healthcare content company. We have been developing mobile applications for the past 4 years. We have iPhone development talent and are looking for a local (Phoenix area) team member with Android development skills. We are interested in hiring a local Android developer that can maintain and develop our existing Android applications in parallel with the development of our iOS products. Most of the work can be done via telecommunication although occasional f2f meetings may be required. The workload is part-time, project based and consists of enhancing our base application and developing private-label versions of it. Job Description: Your responsibilities: - Review business requirements working with other team members - Perform a technical analysis of requirements - Produce a solid, detailed technical design - An eye for graphics/UI is appreciated - Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements with little or no supervision - Complete the QA template as a self-test of the development work you complete. - Work with the QA and Customer Support teams to triage and fix bugs with rapid turnaround - Contribute ideas for making the application better and easier to use Your qualifications: - Programming languages: Android SDK, Java - A work style that is extremely detail oriented - Base location in the greater Phoenix, AZ area - Strong communication skills - A complete Elance profile - References or an established Elance reputation preferred Desired Skills: Android Keywords: Mobile Applications, Android
