A few months ago I spent some money working with a resume company. He gave me a resume and cover letter that I thought were good. Well its a few months later and it is not getting me nearly the response I need. Here is the problem, I worked in nonprofit fundraising for 5+ years. I need my resume to help people understand that all that past experience is SALES and that I was very successful at it. I have currently been in forprofit sales for a year plus at a new company so many are thinking I just have one year of sales experience. I need them to truly see who I am and what I have done so that I stand out in the crowd. I just need some tweaks to the resume so that I shine through. Problem is that I already spent money doing this and money is really tight right now. I know its hard to say you want something cheap but great but "affordable" is all I can afford.
