Occupational Health Advisor / Nurse Port Talbot, Commutable from Swansea , Bridgend Salary Band F Band (£20,624 to £31,499) with shift allowance 12 month contract Our client is committed to the health and wellbeing of our staff. A key element to successfully ensuring that this is achieved is through the delivery of an Occupational Health Service to support all of their sites across Europe. They are currently looking for an Occupational Health Advisor to join their site based in Port Talbot. The main responsibility of this role will be to assist in the delivery of a full occupational health service to the businesses in the South Wales region in accordance with their Occupational Health standards. Within in this role you will be responsible in the prevention of ill-health, rehabilitation and health promotion. Within in this role you will undertake workplace risk assessments working to protocols and carry out initial assessments of employees following work related accidents and incidents, ill health or sickness absence. Other responsibilities within this role will be assessing and meeting the needs of the department by participating in research and audit programme and accurately gather and record working history and exposure to workplace hazards. The successful candidate for this role will have worked in a similar role previously and be fully licensed as Registered General Nurses who are ideally experienced in vaccinations. Ideally you will have A & E experience with an understanding of working within a clinical setting in a relevant environment, although this is not essential. You should also have experience of Microsoft Office applications and a full UK driving licence.
