Our client has a need for a Marketing Copywriter to write and revise copy and headlines for a wide range of deliverables including Web sites, sales collateral, training and instruction, and product data sheets. Main Duties: Work closely with senior writers, team leaders, client subject matter experts, and designers to achieve a high level of quality Use web-based content management tools to track and manage production of deliverables Help ensure the timeliness, completeness, correctness, and overall quality of content Contribute to weekly status meetings This position is located in NYC and requires an onsite presence 2-3 days per week. This position requires writing and content organization within the technology/technical product space (absolutely required). Specific Qualifications (required unless noted otherwise): Experience with personal computers and tools such as word processing programs, e-mail, and Web Browsers Intimate knowledge of style manuals and the ability to apply editorial guidelines and standards Must be detail-oriented, flexible, and able to produce quality work and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment to meet aggressive schedules Excellent writing skills and a strong grasp of technology and technical products Excellent English grammar Outstanding communication and organization skills Good knowledge of Web technology and marketing familiarity Lotus Smart Suite and Lotus Notes is a strong plus Basic understanding of how marketing content should be organized to achieve maximum impact Ability to learn and apply industry guidelines and standards and internal editorial guidelines and standards
