Location: UK Job Type: Contract Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6 Months Salary / Rate: Competitive Industry: Utilities Client: My Client is an international electricity and gas company and one of the largest investor-owned energy companies in the world. Project Scope: £650 million global ERP programme, replacing the current SAP infrastructure and upgrading to ERP version 6 Role responsibilities: • From design through to delivery, responsible for utilising replication technology that moves SAP data between primary and secondary site, automation and operational processes to invoke or test the ITCP solution and NetApp tools such as SnapManager/Shot/Vault and Mirror for Oracle database backup and restore. • Planning the recovery of shared SAP services and infrastructure services, such as Patrol and backups. • Creation of DR processes including prioritisation of restoration of core SAP services, declaration of a DR state, duration of restores for infrastructure, handover to Basis team. • Testing the Infrastructure and application layer, whilst ensuring the security of the live SAP services. • Authoring the Quality Plan, reporting on a twice weekly basis project status to the Programme, project level management of risks and issues. Impact assessment of changes and implementation of actions. • Ensuring that the Programme integrated Plan is maintained up to date and Programme Milestone can be met.
