The Bridge Energy Group is activley recruiting for a Senior Application Engineer with Strong .Net /SQL Server development experience to assist with a Smart Grid Integration effort. Senior Application Engineer Job Description: The Senior Application Engineer (Senior AE) is a technical, customer-facing position involved with the full lifecycle of customer projects, including: database and application development, data migration and integration of synchrophasor data in the energy utility transmission domain. This role requires customer focus, an understanding of the product which is relatively new, excellent written and verbal communication skills and an outstanding level of technical proficiency. The primary role of the Senior AE is to participate as one of the leads in customer projects working with customer and internal team members. In addition, the Senior AE may be required to provide training on the applications and technologies for the customer project team. Other responsibilities include: Data migration and integration with existing systems Handling escalations from customer service Supporting high-availability production servers Writing White Papers and Application Notes for internal and external audiences Assist in creating training materials on new technical features Training end-users on the software Requirements: Essential requirements include: B.S. in Computer Science; Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; Team-oriented attitude; 4+ years of professional experience; Some travel required.
