The selected Project Manager will be responsible for the management of technical project(s) or program teams from initiation through implementation and includes: planning, analysis, design development and implementation specifically for Business Process Re-engineering efforts. Provide overall direction for establishing project requirements, priorities, and deadlines. This role includes the ability to lead resources, prepare appropriate documentation based on the project size, delegate tasks to team members, effectively and clearly communicate project status, manage project risk, monitor the change readiness of the business as well as conduct post implementation audit reviews. Oversees all aspects of project information including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, scope and definition. The selected candidate will also be responsible for leading and identifying business process re-engineering opportunities within a given business process discipline. Responsibilities: * Manage, plan, and organize project activities * Process development and issue resolution * Develop business project plans / schedules * Identify and manage to major project milestones * Obtain key personnel to work on project teams while balancing business needs and expectations * Communicate project status on a regular basis * Manage project risk throughout the life of the project * Conduct weekly project meetings * Develop and maintain issues logs to ensure accountability to the resolution of key issues * Communicate with customers and stakeholders to ensure quality of product and service * Prioritize and delegate key project tasks appropriately to team members * Drive operational / business readiness * Ability to document formal business requirements documents for projects / enhancements * Lead brainstorming sessions to gather requirements * Assist with business case documentation as needed The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): * Extensive knowledge of project management methodology and/or Six Sigma * Experience / History of taking initiative to drive/lead/coordinate an effort among a team of people * Ability to create processes from a business need or issue * Proven ability to manage to deadlines and meet cost constraints * Excellent communication skills * Excellent leadership skills * Excellent presentation skills * Ability to maintain and develop relationships within the project team * Understanding of the business processes as needed by the project * Excellent organizational and documentation skills * Excellent knowledge of the software development lifecycle * Proficient in business process flow diagramming * Ability to facilitate Brainstorming sessions to gather requirements * Ability to perform robust business process analysis and recommend solutions * Excellent listening skills * Fluent in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project and basic project planning tools
