The position of Senior Software Engineer / Programmer requires strong experience developing PowerBuilder Applications. This position will assist in the full lifecycle of application development and maintenance / enhancements. You will actively participate in design discussions, and contribute in decision making. You must have excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. The successful Programmer / SW Engineer applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): * 6+ years of experience in software engineering and/or software architecture * 3+ years of experience working with PowerBuilder development * 3+ years of experience working with Financial Systems (preferably Payroll or Accounts Payable) * Knowledge of PowerBuilder 11.5/12.x Classic / .NET * Knowledge of Object-Oriented concepts * Experience with relational database design and modeling and SQL/DML * Must be able to diagnose and resolve software problems in a timely manner * Must have excellent communication skills * Additional experience working with Microsoft technologies will be a plus to include C# / VB.NET, WPF, and WCF * PowerBuilder * C# * VB.NET * WCF
