Interim Warehouse Manager (Coldstore) Food and Drink Manufacturing South East Our client is a FTSE listed Food Company which boasts a group turnover in excess of £1.5 billion driven through diversification, organic growth and acquisition. Their focus is on building leadership positions in branded and added value markets across their respective sector and investing in industry leading facilities to create competitive advantage. They now seek to recruit an experienced Coldstore Manager to cover the role on an interim basis. The Role Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Coldstore Operation, ensuring that customers continue to receive excellent levels of customer service at optimal cost, paying the highest regard to safety, quality and the ongoing development of the team. You will provide the appropriate tools, disciplines, skills and techniques to deliver lean demand chain principles, working closely with site Transport, Production and Planning functions to create an integrated Supply Chain team. Experience Ideally educated to HND level or equivalent in a relevant discipline, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of managing a fast moving, flexible warehouse environment while developing solutions to the significant challenges of a complex operation. Furthermore, you will have experience in managing change, be proficient in resolving senior management conflicting priorities and capable of delivering clear and concise communications to your team. You will possess the initiative and leadership skills to be a strong decision maker, with the motivation to inspire team members and peers and influence effectively from Operative to Director level.
