My client is looking for a Personal Assistant to work within the Local Authority based in Manchester. The candidate will be required to have the below skill set - Maintaining diaries - Organising meetings - Taking minutes - Producing and managing correspondence - General office duties such as filing, ordering and maintaining stationery, progress chasing - Type to acceptable speeds and to an advanced standard - Use spreadsheet packages & other software/mainframe programmes - Provide and efficient courteous service to the public, other agencies etc.; - Maintain & update diaries; - Maintain effective filing & management information systems; - Initiate responses & distribute required correspondence; - Service & minute panels/meetings as required; - Maintain petty cash accounts in accordance with financial procedures - Maintain budget monitoring systems, providing regular information within set deadlines - Undertake research and report back on findings.
