One of our major Healthcare clients is looking for a talented Network Analyst to join their Enterprise Network Operations Team. This is a high performing team that is looking for someone to add great value to their Cisco operations project that will be rolled out at an enterprise wide level. In speaking with the hiring manager they are looking for an individual with significant experience configuring, testing, installing and troubleshooting Cisco Routers and Switches in a large environment. The environment at our healthcare client is 3000+ end users. The manager has stated that he is seeking someone that understands how traffic over the network is being used and how it is performing in an effort to manage and improve the delivery of the Cisco technology. Coupled with this, he is looking for someone that can optimize network resources, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure a consistent user experience. This is a 12 month+ project with the possibility to be extended up to 2 years. There are several locations on in mid town that the successful candidate would be servicing. Required Skills: They must have thorough knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols including but not limited to Spanning-Tree, Trunking, Port-Channels, HSRP, EIGRP, etc. They must also have working experience with Cisco routers as well as Cisco switches [4006, 4500, and 6500 models]. Wireless experience is preferable but not required.
