Marketing Assistant Intern at "rhubarb" Headquarters
About “rhubarb” “rhubarb” have earned an international reputation catering at the most glamorous private, corporate, sports and charity events from film premieres to royal weddings. More recently we have expanded into the restaurant business with fixed venues at the Saatchi Gallery, Bond & Brook in Fenwicks, The Royal Albert Hall and “rhubarb” at Heathrow airport as well as our branded restaurants at Heathrow Airport and London City Airport. Job description To assist the Head of Marketing in a variety of marketing initiatives and across different channels to promote the “rhubarb” brand. The role will include: • Assisting in the launch of a new franchised restaurant at London City Airport creating marketing materials and distributing press releases • To manage the social networking communications for “rhubarb” and its associated brands on sites such as facebook, twitter, around me and four square. • Writing news articles promoting the company and it’s activities to go on the website and to form part of SEO initiatives. • Working with a graphic designer to produce promotional items, cards and Pos materials for retail outlets. • Organise and manage marketing campaigns such as partaking in BAA promotional activities like their international festival. This includes liaising with the client, creating campaign ideas, organising the restaurant space, amending menus and online communications. • Write, manage and assist in the production of a wedding brochure to promote “rhubarb’s” catering and planning capabilities within this sector. • Organise the online portfolio of events based photographs for marketing purposes. • Create marketing collateral for the events team to use at Square Meal event such as postcards and brochures. • Assist in the organisation of a major marketing event at the Royal Albert hall to celebrate and promote our contracted offer there. Candidate profile • Excellent written English skills • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs • Highly organised and able to manage several projects at any one time • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills Salary & Training This will be an unpaid work experience whereas you will be compensated for daily travel expenses incurred.
