HR Generalist Required - 12 month contract - 28K
My client, a private nursing / care agency - with stunning offices based in Central London, requires an experienced HR Manager for a 12 month contract starting end of August. The position is varied and hands on and will involve managing the HR function for the organisation, including: Management of the recruitment & selection process Liaising with the Training manager to ensure all required staff training is delivered Delivering annual legislation updates to staff Handling disciplinary and grievance cases and performance issues Updating policies and procedures Monitoring sickness, absence, holidays Managing the workload of the HR administrator Ensuring all duties are in compliance with CQC regulations This role and will be an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Manager or for an HR Officer/Generalist to gain hands on experience. The requirements include: Good management, organisation and prioritising skills Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately at all levels Knowledge of current Employment legislation and best practice is essential Knowledge and understanding of 'Care Quality Commission’ (CQC) requirements is desirable, but not essential. The suitable applicant will have proven HR experience and will hold either a qualification in Human Resource, CIPD graduate or studying towards CIPD Qualification. You must be able to commit to a one year fixed term contract. Salary circa 28K
